Fragrance of the Week: True Religion Eau de Parfum

With all the gorging and shopping to be done this weekend I thought I would go with a lighter fragrance today.

Nothing is worse than being in a crowded space that is over-scented with either perfume or body odor.  This fragrance to me is probably one of the most unoffensive scents out there.  It's impossible to over spray and I always get complimented when I wear this.  Pretty amazing considering all of the scents that are out there.

Fragrance of the Week: Le Labo Musc 25

Surely it is cruel for me to talk about a city exclusive scent.  However, it is a scent that I absolutely adore and was indeed my first Le Labo purchase.

Fragrance of the Week: Frederic Malle Iris Poudre

I love iris more than Ron Burgundy loves scotch.  The flower, the fragrance, how they will grow even in foggy San Francisco, everything!

In fact I have loved every iris based fragrance I have smelled except for Prada's Infusion d'Iris.  That being said, it is only natural that I would gravitate towards Iris Poudre.

I got a package from Shu Uemura today....

Shipping was a lot faster than expected, however I do still have another order that they have yet to fill.  I'm also a little sad because the tote that I thought would be given to me was not the one I received.  I mean, I like this tote as well but I thought it would be a white tote with an all over pattern.

It finally arrived!  And I couldn't be happier.

I've been contemplating the need for a proper highlighter.  One that doesn't look overly glittery, pink, yellow or bronze.

So today I spent my day off wandering downtown.  As usual I did some browsing and some shopping and discovered a new favorite chocolate shop on Market St.

Chocolatier BLUE has locations in Berkeley and HOLY CRAP Santana Row!  As well as San Francisco, Omaha, Lincoln NE and Denver.

Shu Uemura and Takashi Murakami Team Up to Make Your Holidays a Little Brighter!

Oh hells!  Well I think I'm in trouble.

So just as the post states, Murakami is doing a collab with Shu Uemura this holiday.  This is to promote his (Murakami's) upcoming artwork "6 Heart Princess".

You can see the collection here.  Also, if you spend $25 and enter in SHUTOTE at checkout you get a free limited edition Takashi Murakami tote bag.  The pictures make the bag seem miniscule compared to the model but I'm hoping that's just bad photoshop.
