So the kids that live upstairs is jumping up and down.  I don't know why, but with no carpet to muffle the noise it's getting pretty annoying.  Ah living below young kids during summer vacation is not a fun way to live.  But they're still young and I was an inconsiderate piss-ass brat as well so I guess it's karma.

I did learn some important lessons though and although I fell short of totally reigning in my impulse to stimulate the economy, I find that I have been able to cut down a lot in regards to spending and have started to use up a lot of stuff that I was hoarding.

Shu Uemura Shipping Sucks! Disappointment and a Valuable Lesson

So I got my Smokey Layers eyelashes last week.  I bought 2 pairs so that I wouldn't need to buy them for a while. It took about 10 days to get to me using Fed Ex which is weird because they ended up handing to USPS to deliver to me.

First I want to ask a question.  If anyone else ordered Velour lashes from the HauteLook sale, did you receive either your lashes or a tracking number?  I realize they are based in Canada but I'm used to receiving my HauteLook orders very soon after the sale is over.
