Fragrance of the Week: Creed Acqua Fiorentina

This weekend the bf and I celebrate 9 years together.

So long that all the years have merged together and I've lost track of time.

So this week, the fragrance is a scent that he bought me for a previous anniversary (of course I can't remember which one but there was ice cream).

When I first sniffed Acqua Fiorentina I was surprised by it.  The plum note really made this fragrance a game changer and to this day is really the only fragrance from Creed I would wear.  I honestly find nothing in their extensive line up that amazes me enough to buy it at that price point.

But this scent is a different story.  It reminds me of youth, at least my youth.  Full of fun at the mall and the occasional drinking of wine coolers in the park like true degenerates.  The fragrance was colored pink and the sliver cap (the glued on emblem fell off somewhere) made it look so fancy.  The fragrance is no longer pink however.

There's a freshness to it yet also a headiness that clouds your judgment.  Overall, it's a wild ride that makes you feel pretty and dizzy at the end of it.

Notes are:

Top: Greengage plum and Bergamot
Middle: Rose Pink Carnation, Calabrian lemon
Base: Virginia cedarwood and Indian Sandalwood

If you're looking for a fun and romantic whirlwind of a fragrance then check this scent out.

It's a plum fragrance that began the repopularization of plum fragrances.

That's all for me.  Have a lovely weekend and live happy!
