Pinky Paradise Reveal/ Review (revisited)

Okay let's try this again.  I'm much calmer now and I'm hankering to write about these lenses (even if this is my second time doing so....grr...).
So to recap, I purchased from Pinky Paradise last Friday and chose express shipping.  They arrived Wednesday morning via Fed Ex (5 days later or 3 business days later).  I ordered before using standard shipping and the lenses arrived in the alotted time frame (2 weeks or 10 business days).  I'm super happy at how fast they came and this entry will be more of a reveal than a review.  I will give my opinions on the lenses I got for myself, but I will forgo my rating system.

I used the promo code frmheadtotoe and got a free gift and a free lens case with EACH pair of lenses I ordered.  This makes it super convenient for me since I wear daily disposables and don't have lens cases on hand.  Plus these are so cute!
So on the reveal shall we?

This is what was waiting for me when I got home.
Yay express shipping!
Ah how complex does the envelope in an envelope packaging feel when you want to get to the goodies as soon as possible?

Here are my free gifts.
So Cute!
And here is the Rohto Lycee I got for my friend.  I use the Rohto Ice and if you think the Lycee is all you can handle then stay away from the Ice.  It's super minty and not fun for the first few seconds after applying.

So these are the lenses.  I got five pairs in total with one pair meant as a gift for a friend.  These would be the Bella Greys and I won't be reviewing how this looks in the eye.

From left to right we have: EOS Pop C Dark Violet, EOS Candy Pink, EOS Candy Green, Geo Bella Grey and Barbie King Size Circle Grey (BKSCG).

Here are the lenses in the vial

My thoughts on Bella Grey is that it's a really subtle lens.  The grey color is lighter than I expected in the vial but it's also not as color dense like with the Candy Pink.  I think because of this the color will easily blend more into the natural eye color.  The black ring also has a nice fade to it so I'm hoping this looks super natural but still noticeable.  But I will see how it looks on my friend when she wears it and hopefully have a pic or two for you all to see.

Now for action shots, forgive me it was late.  This is how these look in my eye.

The Candy Pink lens is by far the most flamboyant of the bunch.  It looks really awesome but only wear these if you're looking to get noticed.  The Candy Green is much more subdued than the Candy Pink, but the thick outer ring still makes for a dramatic eye.
The Pop C Dark Violets are the most subtle of the bunch.  I love the Pop C Dark Blue ones I have.  I have to say I think the Dark Violets look more natural on me.  From afar it looks like I have brownish eyes.  It's only when you come closer that you notice it's purple.  This is making me want to get all the Pop C colors.

As far as comfort for the EOS lenses, I find them to  be super comfy.  I have moderate to severe eye allergies and because of that I am not able to wear regular contacts and must by disposables.  I usually reserve my circle lenses for the weekends and I go out for very long periods at a time on the weekends.  I find that they are very comfortable from day to night.  I only have problems if my allergies are acting up in which case I wear my daily disposables or glasses.  But I have had EOS brand circle lenses for a few months now and I've had very few issues.

As for the BKSCG lenses..... these were the biggest disappointment of the bunch.  Other than for the enlargement and the black ring, they look and feel like colored contacts I can get from my optometrist.  Now don't get me wrong, I do like the lenses and will get good wear out of them, I was just expecting more.

As for comfort level, these are only okay.  I wore them out today at work and while they didn't irritate me, one of the lenses refused to stay put and as a result, I looked cock-eyed for most of the day and I kept getting blurred areas of vision.  I instinctually figured this as gunk in my eye and rubbed my eye.  After rubbing, my eyes started to turn red and my allergy kicked in (so sensitive I know).  By the time I got home I couldn't wait to take the lenses off.

I don't think I'll be getting these lenses again.

As for the rest of the order?  I love it all!  I'm so happy with Pinky Paradise.

Now then!  Everyone go to Pinkyparadise.com and start buying lenses!

Thank you and have a great weekend!
