Fragrance of the Week: L'Artisan Parfumeur Explosions D'Emotions Amour Nocturne

Yes, another stupidly expensive perfume!  But hell, it's Valentine's Day and this scent gets me in the sensual Valentine's mood.

L'Artisan came out with the Explosion D'Emotions collection I believe last year.  This collection consists of 3 fragrances: Deliria, Skin on Skin and Amour Nocturne.

As I was told, this collection was meant to interpret the stages of romance.  Deliria- infatuation, Skin on Skin- lust, Amour Nocturne- intimacy.

Fragrance of the Week: Bois 1920 Come L'Amore

The weather has been quite dreary and I'm kind of at a loss for what to wear when it gets rainy.  Do I want something to remind me of warmth and comfort?  Or should I go with something that would compliment the freshness of rain?

I kind of went in between......

Perfume of the Week: Pivoine Angel

So way back in 2005, Thierry Mugler wanted to do a special Angel scent that incorporated a floral into it.  Be blended his fragrances with one of 3 flowers: Lily, Violet and Peony.  But upon smelling these creations, he had a dilemma.  All smell so lovely with their own characteristics, which to choose?

Well, he chose all 3 and created the Angel Garden of Stars.

Fragrance of the Week: Comptoir Sud Pacific Amour de Cacao

This week's scent is a bit of a curve ball.  While there is a huge part of me that enjoys foody scents, it's usually not in the form of a fragrance.

But this one is a definite exception.

Grand Re-Opening for Missha US Website

So after their holiday sale, Missha did a mini overhaul of their US site.  Some may find this to be good news others might have liked the older system better.

I have to say that while I am super excited for some pieces, I am actually thankful that I don't want to buy the entire collection.  My bank account will be taking a slight beating but nothing like I thought it would.

But then again who knows, I wasn't initially impressed with the Phillip Lim collaboration and I ended up with a good chunk of stuff.

Fragrance of Week: Parfums DelRae Panache

Real life has been busy (and stressful).

So this post is a little late and I apologize.

This week, my fragrance is Panache from Parfums DelRae.

I really love this scent so much that when Barneys decided not to carry the brand anymore and put the remaining stock on sale, I got 3 bottles of the stuff.
